简介：China notified the United States, European Union, Japan, under the WTO dispute settlement mechanism questions about rare earths, tungsten, molybdenum export management measures request for consultations. Department of Treaty and Law Department official has issued a statement said that China had policies in respect of exports of raw materials and the parties have maintained communication and contact with the Chinese side has repeatedly stressed that the policy objective is to protect resources and the environment and realize sustainable development, and has no intention of trade-distorting way to protect domestic industries. The official also said that China will be under the WTO dispute settlement procedures, and properly handle the request for consultations.
